fraDesk 2.0 – Ticket System and Knowledgebase

The aim of the project is to further develop the former BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) project, fraDesk, into a knowledge and documentation platform and a basis for accompanying scientific studies.

Specifically, this project addresses the following fraDesk developments:

  • development and installation of a reporting system (for usability and ITIL conformity) and the interfaces both for statistical analysis software (i. e. SPSS and MaxQDA) and statistical enquiries;
  • design and implementation of a CTI interface;
  • integration of a module for Web-based resource management based on an analysis of procedures in school IT management;
  • requirements and benefit analysis for the use of mobile devices for instruction and design and development of a "fraApp" (mobile Web app; interface for mobile devices) based on the results of this analysis.

The project is being carried out in cooperation with the city of Frankfurt from September 2014 to August 2018.
