fraLine2

The fraLine pilot project was launched on 1 September 2001 and continued into a second project period in September 2004 (cf. fraLine1). During this phase, the concepts tested during the first project period and some previously established structures were expanded to further support Frankfurt schools (for example to include concepts for school organization and administration). Numerous instruments for school IT support were also developed for the internal and cross-institutional transfer of knowledge, and for "self-help support" for teachers.

Following the successful continuation until August 2007, the project was extended in September 2007. The new project period incorporated new tasks such as the development of comprehensive solutions for IT management and systematic research on the use of media in schools and implementation strategies for digital teaching and learning tools (cf. fraLine3).
